Message: hi! im gracia, 24. Im seeking for a man or group of people who can help me in collecting old clothings , books and toys that i can distribute to different orphanages, women center and other institution here in cebu city philippines. I will also give clothings to kids in the street. for abandoned children / orphans. If you have old clothings, toys or anything that these kids can use please let me know. You dont need to spend but if you want to donate cash you need to contact these institutions personally coz i dont accept cash. Some of my chatmates in the U.S and Europe offered thier help too and will send boxes of clothings. Most people around the world doesnt know Philippines exist. Some knows our country because of the great beaches we have, filipina scammers online and number of children on the street. We heard about different orphanages here in cebu and in different places in this country and you know whats funny? The sponsors and owners of these home care/ orphanage are MOSTLY foreigners. I go to ayala once in a while and i saw these people busy chatting with friends over coffee, checking latest stuff in rustans, wearing levi's jeans and of course eating in fancy restaurants. This is a normal scenario in every place i go. Yes, they deserve it to themselves coz they work hard to afford all these things but was there a time that you went out and saw children on the street fighting over a food from the garbage? stealing? begging for a coin? Heart shattering isnt it? We cant help them all but we can help these institution adopt more kids and lessen wandering child on the street. It's time for you to open your closet and grab all the clothes that you dont need or too small/big for you. Let's stop pretending that we dont care coz no matter how much we ignore them at the end of the day we think of them and we thank God no matter how big our problems are ( problems of not losing weight, credit card bills, horrible love life, postponed out of town trips) there are young people out there who didnt have options. As what one author said: POVERTY is like a punishment to these children for a crime they didn't commit. Contact me if you can share your blessings. No need to spend. Just open your closet and you can make a child / abused women happy. God bless us all.
